As a member of our team, you'll take charge of operating heavy equipment such as the PD10 Vermeer machines used in the construction and maintenance of solar fields.
Heads up: This is a physically demanding role that will require you to work in all kinds of weather. A strong work ethic and experience operating a Remote Vermeer Brand PD10 machine/pile driver are a must!

Job Responsibilities
- Operating a Vermeer Remote Controlled PD10 Machine to transport production piles/posts
- Driving piles into the ground without damaging equipment or materials
- Assisting the site foreman with installing various pile types, maintenance and greasing of pile equipment
- Inspecting work along the way to ensure adherence to code and specifications
- Using levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares and surveying equipment to ensure materials are plumb, level and secure
- Measuring height, width, length and other proportions
- Adhering to all safety protocols put in place by the customer
- Recognizing hazards and danger zones
- Exercising knowledge of Basic Equipment Operating Hand Signals and coordinating with crew members in response to hand and/or audio signals
- Ensuring equipment is safely and securely store when not in use
- Troubleshooting
- Ensuring safety comes first - always!
Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
- Experience operating a Remote Vermeer Brand PD10 machine/ pile driver
- Verifiable references of your professional skills and experiences
- Please come ready with steel or composite toed boots and hot/cold weather gear
- Attention to performance details

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated to range between $44.14 - $44.14 per hour.
This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including but not
limited to experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when
making an offer may include a candidate's skills and experience, the expected quality and quantity of work,
and internal pay alignment, as needed.
Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be
reserved for candidates with extensive skills and experience. An employee's pay history will not be a
contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
